At Sierra Pointe Apartments, trash removal is included in your rent. Residents are responsible for water, electricity, and internet services.

Our pet policy requires a one-time fee of $300, a $25 monthly pet rent, and allows up to two pets per apartment. Dogs are also required to complete a DNA swab at time of move-in for program, Poo Prints. Ask our Leasing Team about breed restrictions.

Standard security deposit starts at $500. Deposits can go up to the equivalent of one month’s rent based on screening results.

Free, off-street parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis, with the requirement to move vehicles every 72 hours.

Maintenance is available Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, with 24-hour emergency service for urgent issues. Requests are prioritized based on urgency.

Sierra Pointe Apartments offers a prime location in West Des Moines, with convenient access to Jordan Creek Town Center and nearby parks like Wild Rose, Peony, and Maple Grove. Our apartments are unfurnished, but they come with all the essential appliances you need. We do have the ability to furnish aparmtents at an additional cost. Reach out to the Marketing Office with questions.

If you need to break your lease, there is a $3,500 buyout fee. Alternatively, you can choose our re-rent option (contact the Marketing Office for more information). If you’re uncertain about renewing at the end of your lease, you can go month-to-month for an additional monthly fee. We’re here to help you find the best solution for your needs!
